Ivy Pre-Spray

Description

Do you struggle to kill ivy with glyphosate (Roundup) or other weedkillers?

This is because ivy possesses a very thick waxy cuticle that protects the cells inside from attack by any herbicide (weedkiller).

The active ingredients in Ivy Pre-Spray degrades the chemical make up of ivy leaf surfaces making them readily absorb glyphosate.

This results in a far faster kill and effective control of this pernicious weed.

Developed by Eutrema, Ivy Pre-spray has been developed specifically to address the issue of problematic weeds causing major issues for professionals in the amenity and landscape sector in the UK.

Proven to work on glyphosate-resistant ivy in controlled trials in 2024.

Can also be used on other domestic weeds such as Horsetail, Holly, and Rhododendron.

Application

1. Dilute 50mL of Ivy Pre-Spray in water in your sprayer.
2. Apply to ivy foliage until run off (dripping wet).
3. For best results: allow the product one to two hours to take effect.
4. Spray the treated ivy leaves with your herbicide according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

For best results use Ivy Pre-Spray, followed by glyphosate, early in the morning and on warm sunny days. This ensures that the ivy is photosynthesising, the phloem sap is moving rapidly, and thus the active ingredient travels around all of the plant as quickly as possible.

Do NOT tank mix with the herbicide or any other products.
